About us
Our ethos at DR4DR is that security and risk management solutions should be simple and easily understood to be effective. We focus on 3 key factors to aid organisations;
Enhancing the pro-security culture is vital; without a pro-security culture, any risk undertakings risk failure.
We increase the organisation's capabilities in understanding and managing risks and increasing confidence in decision-making to aid business continuity.
We work with you to understand your organisation and create simple frameworks, processes, and systems to enhance your security culture and protect your assets. We use our skills to assess your vulnerabilities, identify threats, and implement mitigations that are proportionate to the threat and cost-effective. The intent is to aid you in continuing to do what you do, not implementing ineffective systems or creating cost pressures.
An example of this is in the upcoming PROTECT initiative, otherwise known as Martyn's law. Many organisations will be overwhelmed with how to plan for and manage a potential terrorist attack and receive poor advice that focuses on ineffective and expensive measures such as bollards or glazing; this is often due to blue light blindness and poor consultants. We collaborate with you to create plans that align with your existing emergency procedures, emphasising cost-effectiveness and simplicity in understanding and implementation. At its simplest, it's LOCKDOWN, HIDE AND TELL, OR GET OUT, GET TO SAFETY AND TELL.
Remember, a terrorist attack is only determined to be one once it has taken place. Focus on what you know and what you can do based on what's in front of you, regardless of what it is later determined to be.
